Dr. Andrew C Eagar

I am a broadly trained ecologist and geoscientist with over thirteen years of teaching experience. I attended Tennessee Tech University for my undergraduate studies, where I earned a B.S. in Geology with a minor in Math and a B.S. in Environmental Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I earned my PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Kent State University and worked at Michigan State University as a postdoctoral research associate before joining Berry in 2025. I am very passionate about the research I do and the classes I teach and am always looking for new research students. I also offer support for amplicon sequencing projects and welcome new collaborations. If you’re interested in doing research or collaborating with me, send me an email or use the form below.
